BBC Two has secured UK television rights to The Edge in a deal brokered by Noah X. The premiere of the documentary will take place on Sunday 2nd August 2020.
Speaking about the deal for film, which had a theatrical release in the U.K., the BBC’s head of factual acquisitions, Mandy Chang, said: "BBC Two is delighted to be showing this uplifting and epic tale of the England Test cricket team's rise to the top of the world rankings, and the subsequent challenges they faced both on and off the field, to its audiences this summer." Ahead of the premiere, the film was selected as Pick of the Week and Critic's Choice in various news publications, including The Times and The Telegraph. "Superb.
